Wilson PI7 Blade IronsThe Wilson PI7 irons are made to replace their DI and CI7's which allow for much more forgiveness but not nearly as much control. Choosing to cater to the desires of players demanding more control over their shots these irons have a compact head to deliver a smaller face and lower offset with extremely thin top line so that advanced players can choose the strength, line, and height of their shots.
For players in the mid to early low handicap ranges these irons offer just that little bit of forgiveness so that they can learn from their mistakes. Once they get complete control over their already consistent swings they can experience truly professional level flights and landings. The shafts are made from True Temper Dynamic Gold for a very strong swing that will not compensate for a poor stroke. Available in 3 – PW these irons maintain a cavity back so that mid handicap players are not put off before they have the chance to learn how to use them. The cavity is weighted for even more control and power upon proper impact. The long irons have a wider head and longer sole and elastromeric paint offers a lessened vibration for better feedback.
The Wilson PI7 irons are available in regular or stiff shafts. Mid handicap players are advised to start with a regular shaft so that some compensation is available to them. Single digit players do best with a stiff shaft where no compensation is required because of the accuracy of their swing.
